Mission

INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL is dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world. We stand with victim and activists to prevents discrimination, to uphold political freedom, to protect people from in human conduct in wartime, and to bring offenders to justice. We investigate and expose human rights violations and hold abusers accountable. We challenge governments and those who hold power to end abusive practices and respect international human rights law. We enlist the public and the International community to support the cause of human rights for all.

The INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL is a collective of lawyers and social activists dedicated to the use of the legal system to advance human rights, struggle against violations, and ensure access to justice to for all A not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL defines rights to include civil and political rights as well as economic, social, cultural and environmental rights. We believe human rights are universal and INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCEL incapable of being divided and their realization is an immediate goal.

Starting in as an informal group of lawyers and social activists, INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL has evolved into a human rights organization provides professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment as public legal services to those with little or no the justice system. It participates in the struggle for rights through its various activities including public interest tigation, advocacy, legal awareness seminars, and investigation of violation, publishing know your rights and participation in campaigns, INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL collaborates with social movements, human rights organizations, and grass roots developments group to enforce the rights of children, dalits, people with disabilities, farmers, HIV positive people, the homeless, Indigenous peoples, prisoners, refugees, religious and sexual minorities, woman, among others.

We believe that large scale struggles against human rights violations have to be waged by social and political movements, and that the legal system can play a significant supportive role in these struggles.
